LYFE MEDSPA
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers about our treatments, pricing, downtime, and what to expect at our Indianapolis clinic.
- How long does a Botox or Dysport treatment last?
- Both Botox and Dysport typically last 3–4 months. Dysport often shows results in 2–3 days, while Botox takes 4–7 days to fully appear. Longevity varies by dose, area, metabolism, and how active the treated muscles are.
- Is microneedling painful?
- No. We apply a topical numbing cream 30 minutes before your appointment. Most patients describe the sensation as mild prickling or sandpaper-like — not painful. Pinpoint redness right after is normal and fades within hours.
- How many microneedling sessions do I need?
- Most patients see real change after a series of 3–6 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart. After that, quarterly maintenance keeps results stable. A single session gives a glow; a series rebuilds collagen.
- What is the downtime after a chemical peel?
- A superficial peel produces 2–5 days of light flaking. Medium peels can take 7–10 days to fully resolve. You'll look pink immediately after, similar to a sunburn. Sun protection is critical for the first 2 weeks.
- What's the difference between Botox and micro-Botox?
- Traditional Botox relaxes specific muscles to soften dynamic wrinkles. Micro-Botox places very small, diluted droplets just below the skin surface to refine pores, oil, and texture without changing how your face moves.
- Are your providers licensed?
- Yes. All injectables and medical-grade treatments at LYFE MEDSPA are performed by licensed medical professionals under physician oversight, including our nurse-practitioner injector PaShance Strickland.
- How much does treatment cost?
- Pricing varies by service and the amount of product needed. Botox and Dysport are priced per unit; microneedling, peels, and micro-Botox are priced per session with package discounts. New patients receive a complimentary consultation to map a plan and exact pricing.
- Can I combine treatments in one visit?
- Some treatments pair well the same day (Hydrafacial + micro-Botox; microneedling + PRP or exosomes). Others need to be spaced apart (Botox 1–2 weeks before microneedling; chemical peel 2–4 weeks separated from microneedling). Your provider will sequence them safely.
- Who shouldn't get these treatments?
- Pregnant or breastfeeding patients, anyone with active infections in the treatment area, recent isotretinoin use (within 6 months), or certain neuromuscular conditions should defer. We screen for this at consultation.
- Do you serve patients outside Indianapolis?
- Yes — we welcome patients from across central Indiana including Carmel, Fishers, Noblesville, Greenwood, and Zionsville. Many drive in for our injectors and stay for the full membership.
